Doris works on themes of survival for Tasmanian new immigrants and refugees. Her work was eventually won by an Australian bidder who bid $500.
<The Bloody Unknown>
The Bloody Unknown is a not-for-profit book about diversity, displacement, community and migration in lutruwita/Tasmania. It is a collaborative storytelling project where storytelling is driven by participants.
The title is both a play on Australian slang and a drawing on the element of the ‘unknown’ that is found in everyone, no matter how well you think you know them.
